This is another way to find the name, or at least the initials of the future partner in life.
Attach a string to a ring, a wedding ring, if possible.
Hold the end of the string in the left hand so that the ring itself dangles into a glass below.
Repeat the alphabet slowly.
Whenever the ring hits the side of the goblet it indicates the initial of one’s fate.
