Pansy Crepe Paper Costume
Materials Needed (6 year old size)
1 Fold No. 23 Purple Crepe Paper
1 Fold No. 61 Light Amber Crepe Paper
1 Fold No. 22 Violet Crepe Paper
Two enlarged flowers are made and fastened, front and back, to a slip-over foundation. The flowers themselves may be reinforced with wire of two thicknesses or the paper may be pasted or stitched together. The shading of the flowers may be made by cutting pieces of crepe of a contrasting color in the correct shape and pasting in place. To make the hat follow the instructions on the “how to make a crepe paper hat” page, making a cap foundation and fastening a large flower on the front.
