Cat Noisemaker Favor to Make (1920's)

Cut a piece of N0.9 wire 8 inches long and double it over hairpin-fashion.

Paste an H 928 Cat Head Seal on the looped end of the wire and twist the two ends of the wire securely around the upper part of a cricket noisemaker.

Fold a No. 212 Black Festoon lengthwise through the center and use it to cover the back of the cat’s head.

Wind the folded festoon around the cricket to form the body of the cat.

The tail and the legs of the cat are made of wire wrapped with the fes­toon, and they are inserted while the body of the cat is being wrapped.

The finishing touch is a bow of orange ribbon pasted to the back of the cat’s neck.
